After publishing our trailer online for all to see,we did some research into what our audience thought about our trailer. This included a short survey to be distributed across the audience of our trailer to be filled in in order to gain a non-biased opinion. Finding out the opinion from people who have watched the trailer will allow us to be able to see where we could improve our trailer and also see what we have done well and do not need to change.
The questions we asked to the audience were:
-How was our trailer?
-Did the trailer make you want to watch the film?
-Did the music make the trailer more tense and scary?
-Did you notice the non-diegetic sound effects that were added in?
-What effect did they have on the trailer?
-What images were most effective and eye catching?
-Did you notice the darkening effects and did they make any difference to your viewing experience?
-Were the titles easy to follow?
-Was it clear what our genre was?
-What age range was our target audience?
-Did you like the mix of male and female victims?
-Did you feel our trailer had a clear setting?
-What is effective about our magazine?
-What is effective about our poster?
-Do our poster, trailer and magazine tie in together?
-Did you feel our trailer got scarier as it developed?
We chose to ask these questions as they would give us enough information in order to evaluate how good our trailer is ands how we can improve it.

Feedback
After doing these interviews, we found that our trailer was very successful the majority of people interviewed, we in fact tour target age range. From the answers to the questions that we asked it was very clear the trailer was enjoyable to watch and fulfilled its purpose of convincing people to then later on watch the film. Some of the responses were:
- Mphumuzi like the locations used and said they was effective but, he thought that using more darker colours would imporve the trailer.
- ella enjoyed the storyline with how the plot suddenly twists. She said that she did not like the fact the trailer did not leave her on a cliffhanger. She also said that the trailer should be a lot longer.
- Joe said that he enjoyed the final scene of the trailer but found that the music did not fit well with it.
video reaction
From this we can see that our trailer could be improved as throughout the video recording, callum shows lack of excitement by having blank expressions throughout the video. Although not looking that interested he did inform us that he enjoyed the trailer a lot. after further questioning, we found that the fonts were very effective and the transitions were used very well.
Our magazine front cover received good feedback from people as it was appealing and caught the eye of the audience. We used the idea of having actors from the film as this would draw in fans of these actors which is very successful in advertising. The use of the wall with blood on it was commented on as it was very noticeable and helped show the genre of the film. The titles were liked very much and made the audience want to read on. Also the use of red in the main text portrayed the them of the trailer very well.

We received mixed comments about our trailer as some people liked it and some people didn't. The good comments about our poster was that it was simple but still was seen to be very tense making the audience want to watch the trailer. The colours used in the title were liked very much and were seen to be a conflict between death and purity using the red texts next to the white text. The font of the titles were liked a lot as it made the poster look more religious as it was older text. The negative was that although the poster was good they found that it didn't really have relevance to the title and wanted something that would show it was about a documentary.

Conclusion
In conclusion, I think that our trailer was successful as from the feedback given it could be easily seen that, our trailer is enjoyable and makes the viewer want to watch the film. However when asking for ones opinion, there are always negatives that come with the positives. If we was to retry in creating this trailer, one key factor we would have to look at is the music used as a lot of comments said that the music did not fit well. Also the audience wanted our trailer to be more scarier as they found that it was not scary enough. This i found very agreeable as we mainly focused on the storyline of the trailer more so then the scary parts we could include so we need to make sure that we focus on these components aswel. When filming we could of used darker locations as a lot of our play is set in the day and takes the away the tension of being in the dark which was picked up on by Mphumuzi when he watched our trailer. Although there was these components that we need to improve on, our trailer was still a success as it did grip the audience and make them want to watch the film which is the key aim of the trailer.
