THE WOODSThe poster for 'The Woods' (2015) relates to their tagline 'nature has a dark side' as the overall colour scheme of the posters is black and dark grey, this suggests mystery. The background image of the swirling clouds portrays a storm which also suggests a problem that is going to happen. The central image of the stand-alone house in the centre coveys the horror genre as there would be no one around to help them, should a problem occur. The black forest in the background goes with the theme that we can gather from the title 'The Woods' and also suggests mystery and conveys the horror genre.

SINISTERThe poster for 'The Devil Inside' (2015) uses a central image of a girl wearing white smearing red blood across a wall. The girl wearing white suggests how she is pure and innocent and the red blood suggests danger, which conveys the horror genre; within the blood smear there is a face. This image relates to the tagline 'once you see him, nothing can save you' as we can clearly see that it is the female character who has seen 'him' and the face within the blood smear shows us who 'he' is. The image of the blood being smeared along by the girls hand further portrays how the consequences of this incident will not leave her.

THE POSSESSIONThe poster for 'The Possession' (2012) is a really effective poster which grabs the attention of the audience, this is done by the striking centre image and by saying that the film is 'based on a true story'. The central image relates to the title 'The Possession' and also to the tagline 'darkness lives inside' this is done by having the hand coming out of the mouth, as if it is coming from inside; in this case, the hand is used to represent the darkness. The hand also relates to the title as the hand is placed on top of the females face which suggests the hand is dominant over the body and has possession over it.
