THE TWO MAIN TYPES OF LIGHTING
High key lighting -This is where there is a lot of light and the viewer can see everything on screen. This is used when the scene is bright and often positive.
Low key lighting - This is where there is minimal light and the viewer is limited to what they can see. This lighting is very effective for portraying dark characters such as 'The Joker' who is scary looking criminal. The low key lighting used for this example is negative which is effective for changing the audiences mood.

EXAMPLES OF LIGHTING USED WITHIN OUR OPENING TITLE SEQUENCE
High Key Lighting Used - During our trailer we have used a clip where high key lighting is used. In the screen shot you can see the shot of the actresses walking towards the location. The high key lighting allows you to see everything that the camera can see clearly. It is effective for setting the scene and gives the audience an idea of the location.

High Key Lighting - Another example of high key lighting used within our trailer is in the scene where you can see our actors walking around the location. The use of high key lighting is effective as it shows the location easily so that the audience can get a feel for the location and it also sets the scene before everything goes wrong.
